Marie-Christine is a fully qualified and accredited Executive Coach and experienced Management Consultant .She has over 18 years experience of working with people with emphasis on business improvement, and has worked closely with leadership teams and individuals, in both the private and public sector.

Marie-Christine holds the Certificate in Coaching from Henley Management College, is registered on the Henley Register of Coaches, and is a member of the European Coaching and Mentoring Council and CIPD and abides by their professional code of ethics.
She also has a Diploma in Management Studies (Dist.), and experience as a Business Excellence Model assessor for the British Quality Award.
Coaching Styles
Marie-Christine’s approach to coaching is a holistic one in which she facilitates the exploration of needs, motivations, desires, skills and thought processes to assist the individual in making real, lasting change and reaching their full potential. She uses questioning techniques to challenge and facilitate a clients own thought processes in order to identify solutions and actions rather than taking a wholly directive approach. Marie-Christine has a natural coaching style in which she maintains an unconditional positive regard for the individual, which means that her coaching is at all times supportive and non-judgmental of the person, their views, lifestyle and aspirations. Her coaching sessions will include using multiple coaching tools / techniques, learning mechanisms, and business knowledge gained throughout her career. The coaching results in creating greater awareness of choices and perspectives on areas discussed, and setting realistic and achievable actions for progress.
Her background and skills as a management consultant complement her role as an Executive Coach, in being used and able to objectively challenge and work with individuals to see the real underlying issues and key goals, for both themselves and the business.
Marie-Christine is passionate about helping individuals and teams maximise their potential, through building on their successes and motivating them to achieve their personal and professional goals.
Prior to setting up her own executive coaching and consultancy company AspireXcellence Ltd. in 2007, Marie-Christine worked as an internal Leadership Coach for British Telecom.

In addition to Coaching, Marie-Christine has skills and experience in Recruitment, Assessment / Development centers, Facilitation and running Focus Groups, HR Business Improvement Projects, Change Management, Talent Management, Investors in People and TQM.
Supervision
As specified in the EMCC professional code of ethics, it is necessary for their member coaches to: “Maintain a relationship with a suitably-qualified supervisor, who will regularly assess their competence and support their development.”
Marie-Christine therefore, on a professional development level, has regular formal supervision sessions for her own coaching and provides coaching supervision to other coaches. Through receiving regular supervision, Marie-Christine ensures that she continually develops deeper knowledge and wisdom about her work, is steered towards good practice, and feels reassured and guided that she is working professionally and ethically. She has both one to one supervision with an experienced qualified coach / senior manager in BT, and belongs to a Henley Coaching supervision group of independent coaches who meet three times per year to share best practice and key experiences as well as working on their own Continued Professional Development Programme.
